The 2017 edition of the Onion River Review was published on April 5, and celebrated with the usual raucous festivities at the Hoehl Welcome Center that evening. The Core editors this year were Agi Chretien, Lily Gardner, Mikayla Hoppe, Jonathan Norton, Madeline Schneider, Samantha Sidorakis, and Victoria Sullivan. In the steamy summer season,
we sit on sandy beach towels—
peaches fixed in our sticky palms.
Tickling our lips
with fuzzy skin and supple flesh,
as juice freely flows
from the furrows of our mouths.
